Illusions

Ever wonder if the life you're living is real? Wonder if this is how it's supposed to be, all tangled up and difficult? Could it possibly be we're all just living some  bad dream from which we've yet to wake?

Yeah, me too.

You are never given a wish without being given the power to make it come true. You may have to work for it, however. Richard Bach, Illusions: The Adventures of A Reluctant Messiah

Lots of time to think can be a bad thing. It lets you explore all those questions you have buzzing around in your head. Nighttime, just before sleep: that's the worst. You can rest because you just can't stop thinking. And usually, it's about what might have been.

That chance you didn't take. The stone you left unturned. The love that was never really finished.

A quote that sums it up: If you have chemistry, you only need one other thing: Timing. But timing's a bitch.

It's never too late. Without that hope, the illusion is real. This is the best it will ever be. And I refuse to accept that.
